Maple sugar is ahead of the game this year due to the calm weather! According to The Weather Channel, maple sugaring is already under way.
Being in high demand makes getting ahead of the storm key for cultivators. Traditionally, the tapping of trees begins in March, but due to calmer weather this year it has all started early. So many great products are created from tapping such as maple syrup, maple candy, maple cotton candy, maple cream, maple and so much more.

Mac's Maple in Plainfield, New Hampshire, associated with McNamara Dairy, has some great locally-made products like Maple Cotton Candy, Bourbon Syrup, table Syrup, cooking syrup, as well as specialty gifts. However, our favorite is the cotton candy!
