Friday’s events will start at 2 p.m. and begin with a tour of the Baker Bell Tower and an opportunity to navigate the college admissions process (registration is required). DARToberfest will start at 5 p.m. at the tent on the Alumni Gym west lawn and feature food and drinks. The parade will follow at 7:20 p.m., followed by a bonfire at 8:30 p.m. on the Green. There will also be a gathering for alumni, family, and friends starting at 8:30 p.m. on the Blunt Alumni Center lawn.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dartmouth’s Presidential Professor of Government will host a lecture that challenges conventional wisdom about social media. At 11 a.m., parents and families can gather on the Alumni Gym lawn to connect and mingle while enjoying delicious treats from Lou’s Bakery. Also, at 11 a.m., women’s rugby plays Harvard, field hockey plays Princeton, and the equestrian team competes against Sweet Briar.
The tailgate lunch with alumni classes 2014–2023 will take place at 11:30 a.m. on the Alumni Gym lawn, and Bartlett Tower will also have an open house at that time. Varsity football against Columbia will start at 1:30 p.m. Women’s ice hockey will play Union at 3 p.m., and women’s soccer will play Princeton at 3 p.m. Baker Bell Tower tours will be available from 2 to 4 p.m. A complete schedule of events and more details can be found here.
