Festivals Coming To The Upper Valley In August

The 91st annual Craftsmen’s Fair
From August 3-11, the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen will be holding its annual fair at the Mount Sunapee Resort. The fair features juried work of hundred of members and includes ale booths, interactive demonstrations and exhibitions.
Tickets are available for purchase. Children 16 and younger are free. The fair will be held daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine.
Norwich Lion’s Club Fair
From August 8-11, the Norwich Lion’s Club will be holding its fair at Marion Cross School. The event will feature live band performances, games, Meadow Muffin Contest, a silent auction, and fireworks. There will also be rides. Ride prices are $25 for wristbands on select days $30 for a sheet of 40 tickets (75 cents per ticket), $25 for a sheet of 25 tickets, and Single tickets are $1 each. Various rides require more than one ticket.
The Cornish Fair
From August 16-18, the Cornish Fair will be held at 294 Town House Road. It features fruits and vegetable exhibitions, horse and oxen pulling, 4-H crafts, children’s activities, live entertainment, amusement rides and more. View the full schedule here.
