Are you looking to beat the winter blues and keep busy this winter? There are many ways to get active, expand your knowledge, and meet new people in the Upper Valley. Here are some ideas to try.


Indoor Pickleball

Pickleball has been taking off these past few years. Why not see what the hype is about? The River Valley Club has eight indoor pickleball courts that can be reserved by RVC contract members and RVC racquet sports members. Reservations are for 30, 60, and 90-minute blocks and can be made up to two weeks in advance. If you’re not sure how to play, the club offers private lessons. Learn more here.

Get your creative energies flowing at AVA Gallery and Art Center. Get your creative energies flowing at AVA Art Gallery. Sign up for welding classes, pottery classes, painting classes, comic drawing classes, and more. Classes are available for children, teens, and adults. Baking Classes

Try your hand at some new baked goods by taking a class at the King Arthur Baking Company. Classes are available online, on-demand, and in Norwich, VT. They include pizza making, bread baking, macarons, scones, pies, tarts, and more. View the calendar and sign up for classes here.
