What’s Happening This Holiday Season In The Upper Valley

Celebrate the Season at the Hood Museum of Art
On Dec. 6 From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Hood Museum of Art will be holding its Celebrate the Season event. Guests can stop by the Russo Atrium to participate in art making and enjoy cookies and cider.
Home for the Holidays
On Dec. 6 starting at 5 p.m., the city of Hanover, NH, will be holding its annual tree lighting event on the Dartmouth Green.
52nd Annual Christmas Show & Sale
Starting Dec. 6 and going through Dec. 24, the 52nd annual Christmas Show & Sale in Lebanon will be held at the Upper Valley Plaza from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The Christmas show and sale will offer handmade gifts made by members of the Lebanon Art & Crafts Association. Learn more here.
Holiday Market at Lake Morey Resort
On Dec. 7, Lake Morey Resort will be holding its Holiday Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. This free community event will feature local vendors, sleigh rides, live music, visits with Santa and holiday movies in the theater. Learn more here.
Holiday Gift Fair at Enfield Shaker Museum
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 7 and noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 8, the Holiday Gift Fair will be held at the Enfield Shaker Museum. Items available include handcrafted items from local crafters, dried herbal and floral decorations, regional food specialties, Shaker reproductions, and more. Learn more here.
Family Gingerbread Night
On Dec. 8 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., the city of Hanover, NH, will be holding a family gingerbread night at the RWB Community Center. Register for the event here.
63rd Annual Norwich Christmas Pageant
Starting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19, the 63rd annual Norwich Christmas Pageant will begin in front of the Norwich Town Hall on Main Street. This walking, carol-singing pilgrimage will reenact Mary and Joseph’s journey to the manger. Learn more here
Celtic Christmas at the Lebanon Opera House
Starting at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 19, Celtic Christmas will be held at the Lebanon Opera House. The MacDonald sisters, Cassie and Maggie, will bring their twist on “Christmas hymns, ancient carols, and a sassy ode to Vixen, the most mysterious of Santa’s reindeer,” the event description said.
