Whether you’re an avid reader or haven’t picked up a book since you were required to for class, reading is a pastime that has been around for generations. From romance and adventure to horror and comedy, there’s a book for every person, every reading level, and every interest.
If you’re looking for a new book to try or just want to explore the aisles in a bookstore smelling the new books, there are many in the Upper Valley to try. Many have a cafe or place to sit and read the new book you’ve selected.
Still North Books & Bar
In Hanover, NH, Still North Books & Bar has a wide selection of books to choose from. The cafe/bar offers a wide selection of drinks and food to choose from.

Yankee Bookshop
In Woodstock, VT, Yankee Bookshop is Vermont’s oldest running bookstore - opening in 1935.
