Fun Places To Throw A Kid’s Birthday Party in the Upper Valley

A child’s birthday party can be one that they talk about years from now. If you’re looking to make your child’s next birthday memorable and are looking for a fun place to hold it, there are several options in the Upper Valley.


Hanover Parks and Recreation

Hanover Parks and Recreation has several rental options available. The multipurpose room is a great location for birthday parties and a bounce house can be added to the experience for just $45. Learn more here.


CCBA’s Witherell Recreation Center

The CCBA’s Witherell Recreation Center has gym play party and pool party rental options. Facility rentals are also available. Learn more here.


Montshire Museum

A birthday at the Montshire Museum gives the birthday boy or girl and guests the opportunity to explore the museum, expand their knowledge, and have some fun. Birthday parties can be held on Saturdays and Sundays. Learn more here.


The Notch Climbing Gym

The Notch Climbing Gym offers birthday parties and rentals on Saturdays and Sundays. 

The rental includes an “introduction, warm up game, orientation to climbing, and engaging programming on our kids wall led by our enthusiastic staff (75-90 minutes),” the website said. Learn more here.


Tip Top Pottery

For your young artist, hold a party at Tip Top Pottery. Parties take place over a two-hour window on Saturdays or Sundays with each painter costing $25 plus tax. 

“Each painter gets to choose their (one) party animal from our Birthday Party Shelf. We typically have 15-20 different options at once, and these little animal figurines make excellent keepsakes for your party goers!” the website said.

Northern Lights Gymnastics

Northern Lights Gymnastics holds birthday parties for one hour in the gym with 30 minutes for food, cake, and presents on select Saturdays and weekends. If you’re interested, you are encouraged to book early. Learn more here.

For the comic loving child or gamer, The Fourth Place offers birthday party rentals.
