Penny Murano bought the store, Abercrombie and Bridge in December 2006 from its founder Helen Lovejoy. In 2007, she changed the name of the store to Unleashed. Penny managed her first retail store at the age of 17 and went on to be a clothing buyer from Talbots and J. Jill. In 2001, she decided to have a change of career and opened Paw Play, a dog daycare in Southington, CT. In 2006, Penny and her husband Rob moved to New London full time and by chance, found out that Abercrombie and Bridge was for sale. A few remodels and a flood later, Unleashed is the store that we always wanted it to be. Penny has 3 dogs; Sophie a Weimaraner and 2 Miniature Dachshunds Olive and Ryder.
