Ski season starts early at Killington, and they usually open ride in either late October or early November (earliest in the east coast), mostly the first to open in the Northeast. Killington is also one of the best ski resort at making snow. For 3rd year in a row, Killington will host 2018 Audi FIS Ski World Cup. General admission is free for both days of competition so it is nice add-on for the weekend.
