Explore and enjoy the season with winter-related science and one of the museum’s longest-running traditions—Igloo Build! Please note that this event is weather dependent and subject to cancellation if we don’t get enough snow! Bring water bottles, warm winter weather gear (you’ll be outside for 2-3 hours, toes and fingers will get cold!), and if you’re a member, bringing your member card will streamline your admission. Dubbed the #1 Way to Winter Fun by Yankee Magazine and a “Top 10 Winter Event” by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Montshire’s Igloo Build is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
