Hanover’s Brian Doyle Named One of Barron’s Top Financial Advisors for 2016
Apr 18, 2016 05:20PM ● By Kirsten GehlbachOn March 1, 2016, Brian was promoted by Wells Fargo Advisors to Managing Director for Investments. This is the highest title a financial advisor can achieve at Wells Fargo Advisors.
“It’s been a big month. I’m incredibly honored to be recognized alongside the industry’s leading advisors,” says Brian. “However, more important than this honor is the enjoyment I receive from growing relationships every day with clients and helping clients achieve financial success.”
Winner’s Circle, a Barron’s research organization, produced the rankings based on data provided by the nation’s most productive advisors. Among the factors considered for the rankings are assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice, and philanthropic work. Institutional assets are given less weight in the scoring. Investment performance is not an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures are often influenced more by clients’ risk tolerance than by an advisor’s investment-picking skills.
Brian has been helping clients as a financial advisor for 11 years. He lives in Hanover with his wife and their three children. In his ‘former life,’ he won a World Championship in sailing, coached several athletes to World Junior Championship titles in his role as US Sailing Olympic Development Coach, and steered the Dartmouth College Sailing team to an Intercollegiate National Championship as Head Coach.
