The sparkle of newly fallen snow, the serenade of carolers, the twinkling of lights, and the scent of freshly cut pine boughs greeted visitors at The Fells just before the holidays. The region’s best designers, decorators, and talented volunteers lent their talents to transform the historic Hay residence during a preview gala held November 4 and throughout the beautiful and inspirational Christmas at The Fells open house tour, held from November 5 through 13. 

This year’s theme “Let It Snow” was apparent throughout the grand home and outside on the grounds. A major fundraiser, Christmas at The Fells supports the organization’s efforts to preserve three generations of the Hays’ family legacy in history, horticulture, and conservation.
