Woodstock foodies can enjoy the culinary creations of three chefs for the price of one at the Second Annual Bentleys Chef’s Night at Bentleys Restaurant on Saturday, March 11. 

The meal features the culinary skills of Bentleys Chef Jesse McNally and guest chefs Kenny Scott and Jeremy Umansky. Both visiting chefs are formerly of Restaurant Trentina, a James Beard Award-recognized eatery in Cleveland, Ohio, which was named a Top 50 USA Restaurant in 2015. The chef duo is in the process of opening their own eating establishment, Larder: A Curated Delicatessen and Bakery, in Cleveland.

Chef McNally says, “Kenny Scott is a good friend from Virginia. We cooked together for a while. Jeremy Umansky is a chef Kenny met when he moved to Cleveland, and he is starting to work on projects with him in the Cleveland area. Both chefs have a lot of knowledge and many skills that we are excited to bring to the area. The evening should be a blast for our guests and us. It’s always so much fun to get friends together and cook.”

Seating is offered at 6:30pm for the five-course, prix fixe meal. The menu features adventurous dishes such as koji-cured meats and pickles, monkfish liver torchon, koji fried chicken, and amazake grit pudding. (The complete menu is on the restaurant’s website.) The cost is $60 per person (excluding taxes and gratuity.) Craft beer and wine pairings for each course will be offered at an additional cost. Reservations are required.

Chef McNally adds, “We hope that people will come out and enjoy foods that they might not experience everyday but are already familiar with, maybe without even knowing it. It should be a relaxed, fun atmosphere with lots of excitement.”
