Summer is in full swing in Hanover, but somehow it's coming close to an end already. So why not go out with a bang and enjoy what's left with good food, festivals and live music?
We put together some of our favorite upcoming events happening in the Hanover area and beyond. Read on to find out what you'll be doing next!
(Pictured Above) For nine days in August, hundreds of master craftsmen will showcase their one-of-a-kind art and craft at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH.
There's a little bit of something for everyone here -- Blacksmithing, raku pots being fired, wheel-thrown pottery, and glassblowing is just a taste of what you’ll see at the 86th Annual Craftsmen’s Fair. Experience first-hand what it takes to create beautiful art!
Come sample Specialty Foods such as Gourmet Oils, Fudge, Lemonade, BBQ sauces, Kettle Corn, Pastries, Salsas, Herbal Dips, Finishing Sauces, Maple Syrup, Pickles, Relish, Candies, Chocolate and more.
On August 17-18, 2019, over 80 exhibitors will be at the Washington Valley Craft Fair! These exhibitors displaying and selling a wide array of American-made arts and crafts. You'll find fine jewelry, country and contemporary decor, glass art, fine art, wood turned crafts, primitive crafts, textile arts, functional and decorative pottery, furniture, quilts, soft sculpture, gourmet foods and much more.

2019 Craftsmen’s Fair

27th Annual Lincoln Summer Craft Festival
August 10th-11thCome and meet the Artisans in Lincoln, NH at the Summer Craft Festival!
Here, over 100 Juried Artisans will display and sell their traditional American made works; including Fine Jewelry, Pottery, Scarves, Puzzles, Calligraphy, Original Painting and so much more.
Apple Pie Crafts Fair
August 24th2019 will mark the 46th Annual Apple Pie Crafts Fair–one of New England’s longest running craft fairs on the Newport Town Common!
Every year, more than 2000 New Englanders make their way to Newport from all around the state of New Hampshire, and New England to enjoy 100+ booths of handmade crafts, including pottery, woodworking, glass, fiber arts and more. The fair also features live music, an apple pie contest & sale, and the Firemens’ Famous Chicken Barbecue.

Washington Valley Craft Fair
August 17th-18thOn August 17-18, 2019, over 80 exhibitors will be at the Washington Valley Craft Fair! These exhibitors displaying and selling a wide array of American-made arts and crafts. The Vermont State Fair
August 13th-17thThis year marks the 174th Vermont State Fair!
A Vermont tradition and Agricultural fair. Enjoy a range of agricultural exhibits, midway rides, fair food, and fun for all!
The first Vermont State Fair took place in 1846, making it one of the oldest state fairs in the United States. Originally named the Rutland State Fair, the event started out as a one day event. Now, it's a 5-day event that people enjoy from all over Vermont and New Hampshire. Celebrate this year with some fun rides and even better food!
Champlain Valley Fair
August 23rd-September 1stThe Champlain Valley Fair is part of the Champlain Valley Exposition, a not-for profit organization founded in 1922. It's now a 10-day celebration, and Vermont's largest annual event!
You will find all the classic fairground wonders here in Vermont, like tasty food vendors, games, live entertainment, rides, and more.
Each day is a little bit different, so make sure to keep up with the daily activities and discounts. Find a little bit of something for everyone here!
