Celebrate the weekend before with Shamrock Shuffle, a benefit for the Lebanon community’s programs and park development. The yearly shuffle is a 5K race or (for the less ambitious on a Saturday morning) a 1-mile fun run. Participants get festive wearing green and running in costume. After the course, you can grab a celebratory pint at Salt Hill Lebanon. Register and lock it in by March 8th on the website.
But if you aren’t afraid to
celebrate on a school night, here’s the line up on where to raise a pint and
get dandy on St. Paddy’s Day.
1. Salt Hill Pub knows how to celebrate this day in style. With events at their four locations, it means there is no excuse not to join in. Taps start flowing at 9 am with a
traditional Irish breakfast on the menu and a toast to the day. Once you’re all fueled up, the day-long shindig features four Irish style bands and giveaways all day. Large giveaways include Red Sox tickets and past prize winners have taken home snowboards, coolers, and other high-end fun stuff while one lucky winner will score a trip to Ireland for two! There
will be Guinness girls, whiskey tastings, a roving bagpiper, photo booth, Father
Will and his Naughty Nuns and of course, Irish whiskey!
"We throw a tremendous party every year to show our customers how much we love them, and as a bonus, we have a great time doing it,” says Jenn Galvin, General Manager of Salt Hill Hanover. “It's an amazing party surrounded by amazing people all just having a fantastic time. I've done St Patrick's in Washington DC and Chicago and this is one of the most genuine and fun venues I've ever had a chance to participate in." She said.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day Everyone!
