Maxine Park won the Davidson Fellows $25,000 scholarship for
her musical project: Why Journeys and Not
Destinations: A Framework for Approaching Life's Goals where she used her piano skills to explore a
philosophical approach to achievement that defines goals as journeys instead of
destinations.
Her exploration of how to use commitment and communication to imbue goal setting and completion with meaning is reflected clearly in this project and the resultant award.
