Dec 30, 2021 01:58PM ● By Naomi GreenPhoto from The Public House Pub Facebook page.
The Public House is a beloved
local establishment in Quechee, Vermont, that hosts parties, live music, bingo,
and more. It has lots of indoor and outdoor seating and provides dining
and drinks, that are also available for takeout. At the end of October, the
Public House closed for a week to make time for some exciting updates.
List of Renovations
- New Dining Room Floor – a more durable floor has been installed to provide a more pleasant dining experience.
- Replacement Bar Top – a stunning, shiny bar top has replaced the old, well-loved counter. The bar’s closure gave the wood the time to properly cure, which has brought out the beauty of it.
- 2 New Fans - this was done to improve the performance of the kitchen’s walk-in cooler, which keeps the food fresh and delicious.
- Updated Bathroom Vanities – The Public House already had a reputation for luxurious bathrooms and took the chance to update their bathroom vanities.
Also, some of the staff decided to use the break to update their HR Food Safe training. The course was 4 hours long and concluded with a 90-question test. This important training will ensure that the food is prepared as safely as possible.
The restaurant is now open 4-8 pm Monday-Wednesday and 4-9 pm Thursday-Saturday.
