Plans for a second Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine are now in the works, according to owner Pannipa Pace. The new location is slated to be in West Lebanon and will replace the Dunkin’ Donuts off Main Street. It will serve the same signature dishes from its Hanover menu in addition to new sushi options and a bar that will be open at night. Pace indicated that White River Junction was also an option for the new restaurant, but she chose West Lebanon because of its lively commercial scene and proximity to Pace’s home. It is also an area that is now known for its takeout and delivery, especially during the pandemic, as well as its nearness to the interstates.

The authentic Thai cuisine in Hanover is prepared by experienced chefs and served in a relaxing, elegant atmosphere. There is a full bar with draft beer, offering a wide variety of beverages.

Menu appetizers include Fresh Summer Rolls, Thai Veggie Dumpling, Fried Tofu, Tuk Tuk Wings, Pot Stockers, Shrimp Shumai, Crab Cream Puff, Coconut Shrimp, Fried Wonton. Soups offered are Tom Tum (a Thai favorite, spicy hot and sour soup with herbs), Tom Kha (coconut milk soup), Tom Yum Noodles Soup, Potak, Rice Soup. There are a variety of salads with papaya, beef, shrimp, or mango. Main dishes include Cashew Delight, Sweet and Sour Stir Fry, Pad Fresh Ginger, and Eggplant Basil, among others. There are curry entrees, noodles, fried rice, duck, side dishes, and specialties that highlight fish, shrimp, salmon, eggplant, crispy chicken, or pad char. A kid’s menu and party trays are also available. Finally, desserts include sweet or black sticky rice with mango, coconut sorbetto, mango sorbetto, fried banana with ice cream, and fried ice cream.

Prices range from $7-$28. Dining room hours are Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Lunch is served Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
