Dogs Now Allowed At Outdoor Dining Venues In NH (But There Are Still Some Rules)

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu signed a senate bill in February to allow dogs to dine outdoors at restaurants and other establishments with their owners.
In effect since late April, the bill will allow dining establishments to accommodate dogs in outdoor dining environments, but they must meet certain criteria such as food and safety measures and signage to mark areas where dogs are allowed or not allowed.
The new bill is not to be confused with service animal laws, which allow service animals to enter restaurants.
Now that the weather is warm enough to make outdoor dining comfortable, this new law will make it easier for dog parents to bring their companions along with them when eating out, and it will make it easier for restaurants to accommodate them.
