Check Out These Fall Classes At AVA Art Gallery (For Adults & Kids)

plethora of fall classes are now being offered to the public at the AVA Gallery and Art Center (Alliance
for the Visual Arts) Gallery and Art Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Located
at 11 Bank Street, the center is dedicated to promoting the visual arts through
exhibitions and educational programs that “nurture, support, and challenge New
England artists, and to providing art classes for children, teens, and adults
of all levels and abilities.” AVA’s programs—including special events that
foster interaction among artists, patrons of the arts, and the community and
which emphasize sustainability—are dedicated to recognizing the ways in which
art enriches lives. Scholarship, internship, and volunteer opportunities are
integral to AVA’s programming.
Some of the workshops and classes being offered to adults include:

- Moving Metal: Forging, Fold-Forming, Inflated Forms, and Sculpture
- Continuing Pottery
- Welding for Beginners
- Introduction to Woodworking
- Plein Air in the Fall with Watercolors

- Basic Drawing
- Introduction to Oil Painting
- Drawing and Meditation
- Painting Architecture and Built Environments
- Sculpting with Wool
- Zen Archery
- Hot Wax
- Wood Carving
- Upcycled Clothing and Textiles
- The Cutting Edge: Stained Glass
- Photographing Artwork
- Blacksmithing
- Painting the Portrait in Watercolor
