Thanks to Michelin Star–trained Chef Jevgenija Saromova, the restaurant offers artfully prepared gourmet-fusion plates that involve all the senses. Chef Saromova worked in top restaurants in Italy, France, and England before starting her journey to Woodstock, Vermont. The Lincoln Inn & Restaurant offers local and international cuisine with vegetarian and vegan options. All ingredients are sourced from farms throughout the region and from the restaurant’s own kitchen garden.
Samples of menu dishes include Vermont Rack of Lamb with Jerusalem Artichoke, Aubergine Relish, Fondant, Asparagus, and Lamb Jus; Beetroot Terrine; and Rabbit and Foie Gras Terrine, Seared Scallops, Pineapple, Mango, and Apple Sorbet.
The culinary gem offers breakfast and dinner, and the experience is enhanced by wine paired for guests’ dinner options and the glow of a warm fireplace. The seven-course Chef Tasting Menu offers an intimate atmosphere for a gourmet high-end dining experience. Enjoy dining inside the dining room year-round. The tasting menu is $145 per person. The wine pairing is available at a cost of $100 per person for seven tasting glasses of wine, each paired perfectly for each course. Prices do not include drinks, gratuity, and tax. The Lincoln Inn & Restaurant at the Covered Bridge is among 25 restaurants across the country cited by TripAdvisor. It is located at 2709 West Woodstock Road in Woodstock, Vermont. Located on more than five acres of land and built in 1875, the inn was once a farmhouse owned by President Abraham Lincoln’s cousin. Situated on the Ottauquechee River and bordering the famous Lincoln Covered Bridge, it is just minutes west of the Woodstock village green. There are six cozy guest rooms and a tavern serving a bar menu in addition to the fine-dining restaurant. It was also voted as one of the 10 best restaurants of 2016 by Forbes magazine.
