Festivals & Events to Try This Fall In The Upper Valley

Billings Farm Harvest Celebration
On Oct. 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, the Billings Farm and Museum will be holding its free Harvest Celebration. Guests can enjoy traditional barn dancing, live music, pumpkin bowling, crafts, stories, and harvest activities. Learn more here.
Pumpkin Festival at Cedar Circle
On Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Cedar Circle Farm and Education Center will be holding its Pumpkin Festival. Festival goers can enjoy yummy food, live music, pumpkin picking, activities for kids and more.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 6 to 17, and free for children under 6. Learn more here.
Spooky Science at the Montshire Museum
On Oct. 25 starting at 5 p.m., the Montshire Museum is holding Spooky Science where guests can enjoy a night at the museum in costume.
“This (not so scary) event is designed especially for families with children through age 12,” the website said.
Tickets are $11 for member, $15 for non-members, and free for children under 2.
Halloween on Allen Street in Hanover
On Oct. 27 and 28 Allen Street in Hanover, NH, will be turned into Halloween central.
On Oct. 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., kids can trick-or-treat on Allen Street. On Oct. 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be pumpkin carving and a decorating contest. Sign up here. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., ther wil be street dancing and a costume contest, live music, drinks and more.
Halloween at VINS
On Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Vermont Institute of Science (VINS) is holding a Halloween celebration. The event will include spooky crafts, animal artifacts, predators of the sky, and more.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for youth, $17 for seniors, $16 for educators and veterans, and free for VINS members and children 3 and younger. Learn more here.
