The new year means many people are making resolutions and hoping for the best in 2025. If your resolution is to get more active or try something new, why not try cross-country skiing or ice skating? There are many places to try both in the Upper Valley.


Oak Hill Outdoor Center

The Oak Hill Outdoor Center in Hanover, NH, offers skiing for all ages with many trails to try. For those who are new to cross-country skiing, lessons are available. Learn more about the outdoor center and purchase a ski pass here.


Eastman

Eastman in Grantham, NH, offers cross-country skiing on 24 miles of groomed trails. According to the website, winter sports enthusiasts who purchase property in Eastman can ski, snowshoe, skate, and sled all season fee-free as part of the Universal Amenity Program. Learn more here.
