Maple Sugarhouses To Visit in New Hampshire

It is spring which means it’s maple sugaring season! According to Visit New Hampshire, there are over 90 sugarhouses in the state that are making “syrup and other maple delights, and pancakes taste better than you've ever dreamed they might.”

With so many in the area, here are a few to consider visiting this season:


Patch Orchards

Patch Orchards in Lebanon, NH, has been been in the same family for eight generations. They have produced maple syrup for over 70 years and currently have 60,000 taps. The farm makes a variety of maple products. Learn more and plan your visit here.


Valley View Maple Farm

In Springfield, NH, Valley View Maple Farm produces a variety of maple products including syrup, mustard, spices, and maple coffee k-cups.

“The syrup is still boiled with wood in a modern state-of-the-art evaporator,” the website said.

Tomapo Farm, LLC

Tomapo Farm, LLC in Lebanon, NH has been a family owned and operated farm since 1769. It offers a variety of maple products like candy, syrup, maple sugar, and more. Visitors are “encouraged to experience sugar season by tapping a tree with us, while learning about sugaring and agriculture in general,” the website said. Learn more here.


Twin Hill Farm

In Claremont, NH, Twin Hill Farm has roughly 1,300 taps and the “syrup is wood-fired, just the way our ancestors made it, and bottled by hand,” the website said. The farm offers traditional syrup as well as maple candied nuts, maple cream, maple cotton candy, and more. Learn more here.
