And returning this year is a Beer Garden featuring seasonal brews. Claremont Parks and Recreation holds a 5K and a Kid’s Fun Run as part of this event. Vendors include a Local Businesses Spotlight, agricultural products, artisan and craft goods, locally produced foods, and more. Make your calendar for this not-to-be-missed event on taking place on October 1.

Cedar Circle Farm
Pick your own great pumpkin, Charlie Brown! With Cedar Circle’s own farm stand on site, you can select from many of the produce that’s in season, including apples and cider, beets, dried beans, parsnips, onions, sweet potatoes, turnips, rutabaga, and so much more. Don’t wait too long to choose your pumpkins for the best jack-o’-lanterns ever! Right now, you can visit anytime from Monday through Saturday, 10am–6pm and on Sun 10am–5pm.

White Mountain Oktoberfest
Get a taste of the Bavarian Alps right here at Loon Mountain during White Mountain Oktoberfest, the region’s largest celebration of German food, drink, and music. Presented by Samuel Adams, this two-day festival coincides perfectly with fall foliage season, so you’ll enjoy beer and brats along with stunning views of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. There will be equally stunning deals on skis, snowboards, and other winter gear during our inaugural Loon Mountain Sports Tent Sale. Gates open at 11am and admission is free for all ages.

Since 1947, the good people of Warner have hosted their town’s Fall Foliage Festival and welcomed old and new friends to their community. The festival is Warner’s invitation to share the natural splendor of New Hampshire’s vibrant autumn colors while enjoying entertainment and events on Warner’s Main Street. The event takes place October 7 to 9 and includes a 5-mile road race, food vendors, petting zoo, performances, pumpkin picking, cider donuts, and everything else autumnal! Apple Picking at Poverty Lane Orchards
This much-loved orchard is open seven days a week with unbelievably good fruit, free tastes of everything they grow or make, free wagon rides on fair weekends, picnic tables all the time, views across the valley, and acres of space inside a big fence (kids can run far but can’t get lost). Local pumpkins, gourds, squash, jams and jellies—but no candy racks and no pressure.

Harpoon Brewery Octoberfest
Enjoy the fun and foliage, and hoist a pint at the brewery in Windsor, Vermont during Harpoon’s biggest festival of the year! Saturday, October 8, from 11am–6pm and Sunday, October 9, from 12pm–6pm (doors close at 4:30pm each day). Entrance to the festival is $15 and includes your first beer/soda ticket. Tickets are not sold in advance; the festival takes place rain or shine (hopefully shine!). Attendees must be 21 years old and up for beer. Children under 12 get in free with an adult.

Laconia Pumpkin Festival
In late October, downtown Laconia is a dazzling
sight. Festival-goers come from all over the Lakes Region and beyond to add
their carved pumpkin masterpieces to the 35-foot pyramid, which numbered nearly
1,000 glittering pumpkins in 2015! The New Hampshire Pumpkin
Festival is a one-day, community-hosted, family-friendly celebration of fall
and all that is unique about the Granite State. It’s a celebration of artistry
